I can't believe she's two!

Ella had her second birthday this month and we thought it would be appropriate to have 2 birthday parties (actually we celebrated almost the entire month of August, come to think about it, she still thinks it's her birthday!).
Her first party was at Chuck E Cheese here in Colorado Springs. Ella was terrified of Chuck E, so we didn't play much, but she certainly enjoyed her cake (she blew the candles out way before we were even done singing) and her presents (except the clothes, nice one Aunt Lisa G, she threw those on the ground)!


We were in Iowa for her real birthday, which is also my Mom's birthday. How cool is that to share a birthday with your Grandma. We let Ella blow her candles out first (which again she blew out before we even started the birthday song), then Grandma. I think Ella was really proud to share her birthday with Grandma Dee Dee, I just don't think she liked sharing her birthday crown!!!

Blogging is hard.

What a headache.
We've officially changed blogs over to the ultra-simple Blogger set-up because, frankly, we just couldn't handle Wordpress. It took too long to post a lot of pics. I wish I could figure out Livejournal, but my tired brain is just too overwhelmed by all of the customizing options. You can still access our old blog, it just won't be updated anymore.
So our apologies to all of our 2 avid readers about our tardy posting since June. Trust me, we have plenty to fill in since.
