In order to make your photography experience as easy and enjoyable as possible, we ask you review our Portrait Policies before booking a portrait session with Trystan Photography:

Booking a Session

To book a portrait session of any kind you must pay a non-refundable $25 reservation fee (which is applicable towards the full session fee), put a credit card on file, and sign a portrait contract (either by fax, by e-mail or by regular mail).

Upon signature and receipt of deposit, Trystan Photography and Design reserves the time and date agreed upon and will not make any conflicting reservations for this time and date. For this reason the $25 reservation fee is considered liquidated damages and is non-refundable. Any session that is cancelled 48 hours in advance to the session date may apply the $25 reservation fee towards rescheduling the session. Any session cancelled later than 48 hours in advance forfeits the reservation fee and must pay a new $25 reservation fee to reschedule. Exceptions to this policy may be made at the photographers' discretion in the event of emergency or inclement weather.

Any "no-show" sessions will be charged the full session fee.

Please make every attempt to arrive on time. Please do not arrive early, you will be asked to return at the time of the appointment. If arriving late, please notify us and keep in mind that arriving late will shorten your portrait session.

The Session

Sessions can have up to two outfit changes. Please keep in mind that we do not have facilities for privacy for our outdoor sessions.

We do incorporate a variety of poses in the session, some of which may be full body, so take note when paring shoes and such for your outfits.

Personal items are very welcome for the session, i.e. guitar, baby blanket, sports equipment, pets, toys, etc.

Ordering and Availability

Your order must be placed within 30 days from the date when Trystan Photography and/or it's representatives notify you that your photographs have been processed. After this initial 30 day sales availability period, you can pay an additional $9.99 extension fee to keep the photos available for purchase per each additional 30 day period needed.

Online proofing galleries and ordering is a free service provided to the client after an in-studio order has been placed. If you need the photos posted online before your ordering session, there is a $25 gallery-rush fee. Online proofing galleries are available only for the remainder of the sales availability period.

Trystan Photography and Design and its employees shall not be held accountable for any unforeseen delays in the order(s).

Any prints or products remaining unclaimed for more than 90 days will become the property of Trystan Photography.
