So, just 1 day after the wedding with the horrendous 70+ mph winds, we photographed Ann Marie and Robbie’s wedding at The Cliff House at Pikes Peak. Needless to say, they had no trouble with the winds. Colorado is so schizo. You never know what you’re going to get, but the bright side is: it’s always gorgeous.
Robbie and Ann Marie elected to have a small, intimate wedding with only their immediate family and friends. What a joy small weddings are! There’s hardly any stress and we still get the same amount of time to play and capture fantastic photographs. And these two were perfect with each other: Ann Marie exudes this amazing grace and class while Robbie is a ham. He kept her laughing and flirting with her the entire day, which lightens the mood and gives us way more opportunities for sexy shots, because it’s the “in-between” moments that count. Goofing-around relaxes our subjects and allows them to be caught in the moment, and not thinking about the camera. It’s the only way we prefer to shoot.
Thank you Robbie and Ann Marie for the honor of capturing your special day.
