As any mommy will attest, the best part about giving birth is you forget most of it.
The worst part? You forget most of it!
If you don't know, within moments after the birth, a woman's brain releases a potent cocktail of hormones that nearly wipes away the memories of the struggle and pain, and leaves a warmer, fuzzier version of the rest. This amazing biological function serves two purposes: 1) to ensure that you're not traumatized from the experience, and 2) it keeps you coming back for more!
However, in terms of preserving the memories of this momentous occasion, this amazing function does not help in the least. And we all know the daddy is useless for this purpose: they don't get the convenient hormonal memory wipe, so they witness every last stress-filled and emotional detail of the birth process and most likely are in a state of mild PTSD for the rest of their lives! (And the details they do recall aren't exactly of the "Hallmark" variety, either...)
For generations, this has resulted in the preservation of one of the most important events in a family's life being relegated to the likes of foggy recollections from Mom, or shakey, pale-faced whipsers from Dad as he grasps desperately for a cocktail. But not any longer!
We're so proud to offer this one of a kind documentary of your baby's arrival. You can have the best of everything: the real story of the birth captured in an intensly authentic and breathtaking style of photojournalism, preserved forever for you to share with your children!
