Heather & JeremyWhere else would an animal lover have her wedding? At a zoo, of course! But not just any zoo, one of the most unique zoos in the world: Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. This zoo is built on the side of a mountain in Colorado Springs, and even features a chairlift for wedding guests to arrive at the ceremony spot.

We could still remember distinctly the horror we felt as we watched the news footage of flames tearing through the Cathedral Pines area of Black Forest. I was personally sure the Lodge at Cathedral Pines was a loss. From the footage on the news, it had to be.

Jillian and NathanThis day, rain was threatening from the first photo at The Wedgewood Black Forest. Building wind gusts let us know that the day might get interesting, and fast. But as luck would have it, the skies ended up not opening up until during the indoor ceremony, and by the time we were back outside for the couple's photos, it was all dry once more.

We love Colorado Springs! This town has grown up a lot over the years, and now we not only have some of the most amazing wedding venues in the world, but we’re getting some pretty awesome places to eat, stay and play, too.
Some of the wedding venues that still rock our “photography boats” are The Garden of the Gods Club, The Pinery on the Hill, The Mining Exchange, and, of course, the stunning Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel, just to name a few. There really are not any bad wedding venues here, and any wedding in The Springs will enjoy those stunning views and fantastic parks & rec areas to photograph in.
